Biography: Dr. Cesuroglu received her MD from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Ankara, Turkey (2002). She worked at United Health Systems Consultancy (BSS) (Istanbul) in various areas including health care systems and policies, health management, health services planning, and health care quality. She worked in establishment of GENAR Institute for Public Health and Genomics Research in Ankara and became its Research and Development Coordinator, working on health care service models (risk and disease management), genetics of complex diseases, public health genomics, personalized medicine, and personalized health care. Her experience covers research, development and implementation in those areas. She has been awarded with the Marie Curie Fellowship of the European Commission to be hosted at Maastricht University (2011-2013).
